Do you know the feeling of not knowing if you just hit a new PR? Looking through all your latest training plans to find the last PR?
That’s what annoyed me, so I looked for a simple PR tracker on the AppStore. I did not find anything, only stuff that offered subscriptions and included training plans and other stuff. So, I decided to develop my own simple solution.
For now, there is only an iOS version that uses iCloud to sync your data, so it can’t get lost.
If interested in the app, enter your e-mail address on this page to be notified when it launches on the AppStore. The first ten people who enter their email will get it for free. The regular price will be 1.99 €. Now, let’s take a look at it.
This is the start screen. At the top, you can scroll through a list of your latest PRs. If you click a PR, it leads to the exercise, where you can enter a new one or modify existing ones. The second part of the screen displays the categories you create to organize the exercises you want to keep track of.
Once you tap on an category, you get to this view, where you see the exercises you created and the last PRs for these exercises.
After tapping on an exercise, you get a list of all the PRs, and you can add new ones or modify existing ones.
As I already said, the app is a very simple start to see if there is interest in it. If a few people are interested, I will launch it on the AppStore and might implement additional features like a statistic/progress view or export functionality.
If you have any questions regarding the app, let me know.
